"Lewis Wilcoxon does not appear in deed records after 3 July 1739 when he
borrowed L40 sterling of Great Britain from his brother Thomas (1). His
wife, Susan (maiden name not known) appears in deeds in 1737 and 1738 (2)."

A Lewis Wilcoxon died in Fairfax Co., VA, in 1743. It is believed that this
is the same Lewis.

From Clair Wilcoxon, the Wilcoxon Newsletter, Vol. I, No. 2
"A report of Lewis Wilcoxon having unnamed "sons" is hidden in the Dower
Statement of a 1737 land sale in Prince George's County, Maryland, "...
then came Lewis Wilcoxon and Sons with his Wife and acknowledges this
deed..."(1). The names of these "Sons" are not known. No further
information is known about them at this time."
