"John Wilcoxon, planter, died in Frederick County, Maryland, in 1754 (4
December 1754- 16 December 1754) (1) and after special bequests to his
daughter, Mary Edmonston, grandsons Peter and Sampson Noland, and grand-
daughter Ann Noland, he directed that all his lands be sold, debts paid
and remainder to his son and executor, John Willcoxon alias Winser who
was sole heir. His wife Agnes (maiden name not known) died after 28
August 1745 when she and John sold 300 acres, called "Coxson's Rest"
to John Hankins. (2)"
