--- DEATHS ---
Orlando Colwell, died Sunday night at his home 900 East Hopkins Street,
aged 77 years, 4 months, and 7 days. Funeral arrangements have not yet
been made. He was a member of Bishop Post G. A. R., having served in the
Civil War.

--- FUNERALS ---
The funeral of Orlando Colwell, who passed away Sunday night, was held
in the United Brethren Church Wednesday afternoon. The G. A. R. post had
charge of the services, members of the organization acting as pall bearers.
Rev. Montague officiated at the service. Interment was made at the Hire
Cemetery.
Per Virgil Colwell:
Orlando Colwell served in the Civil War and was wounded with a bullet
wound that resulted in a permanent opening through his shoulder.
Per the 1880 census, he said his father was from France (actually French
Canada) and his mother from PA.
