!The following notes are in the record of Edith Maude Bechtol, and are copied
here, as they are very pertinent to the proof of Patricia Joan Litehiser's
existence, and the date of her birth. [found in the last entry]

!Services, for Mrs. Edith Maude Litehiser, wife of William Allen Litehiser, who
died at 11:15 O'clock Monday night in her home three miles south of Eaton, were
conducted at two o'clock thursday afternoon in the Girton funeral home.
Internment was made in Mound Hill Cemetery. Her death followed several months
of failing health.

!Edith, was a daughter of the late Zackariah Becktol, & Mary Jane Brazier. She
was born in Missouri, October 22, 1870. Mrs. Litehiser, had been a resident of
Preble County, the greater part of her life.

!Surviving are her husband, and two sons, Harry at home, and Guy Litehiser,
residing in the state of Washington.

!An old and crumbling writing paper book, among the Treasure Trove of
Genealogical items that have been preserved by Donna Anne Litehiser, has a
History of W. A. Litehiser and his family, in the hand of Edith Maude Bechtol,
and with her spelling and punctuation.

!We were maried on Oct 4, 1992 (1892) & went to live with his folks on the Jabe
Fisher farm where we lived for three years. On Sept 24, 1993 [1893] Guy was
borned

!Sept 1995 (1895) we moved to Mr. Hank McNeal Farm? lived two years. on Dec.
11, 1995 [1895] Harry was borned.

In the fall of 1997 [1897] We moved to Grandpa Litehiser's farm? Their we
lived three years & moved from their to Mrs. Hariss farm up by Eldorado & lived
there on year & then moved back to Mr. Rupple's farm & lived five years.

!The boys both started to school at the Potterf school house

!We moved from their to Grandpa Bechtol's farm & lived there two years & then
moved on our own place & lived in the old house untill 1917 when we moved in
the new one just one week before Thanksgiven & winter began our aufull cold
winter we couldn't get no coal & had green wood to burn had lots of snow a
winter we all remembered

!Guy went away from home when 19 year old to learn to be a operator. Stayed
with Dan Litehiser in Mich. from their he & a freind went to work in the N. P.
railroad & in 1918 he was maried to Helen Emons.

!His oldest son Glen was born in Huntley Mont, Nov 10 1918 Helen came back
here in June 1921 & Boyed was borned Sept 7 & they went back to Beach N. Dak.
to live

!Then in July 1924 they drove their auto home came by the way of Kansas City &
visited Helens folks.

!They went to Eldorado to live Guy worked for the Stayton Bro. while there &
there Joe Jean was born on Dec., 20, 1924

!Then in Oct., 1925 they went to Kansas City & he worked there a while & then
he drifted back to N. Dak. again

!Were liveing at Richardton N. Dak. Billy Lee was borned their on Feb. 13, 1929

!And On Sept 7, 1930 Dona Ann was born

!They moved to Wash., State in the summer of 1931.

!On Thanksgiven day Joan was born
