daughter of William Porter, of Henderson, and after teaching in Mifflin County
until 1835, he also became a citizen of the township, living near the Union

"On 7 November 1740, Thomas Wilcoxon, Sr., planter, sold "Warwick" (100
acres) to Randolph Johnson, bricklayer, for L25 sterling of Great Britain.
Ruth Wilcoxon acknowledged. This would imply that William Wilcoxon,
youngest son of John and Magdalen Wilcoxon was either dead, had removed
from the area or had sold his land to his elder brother (1). There is no
further record of William Wilcoxon."

William Wilcoxon. (2)"
"Also in 1733, William Wilcoxon witnessed the lease of land called
"Plantation" from Thomas Wilcoxon to Jacob Jackson (3)."
"Probably all of the above references relate to William Wilcoxon, son of
John and Magdalen."
