........... Computers

This course is designed as an easy paced introduction to the world of computers, with particular emphasis on their use in a modern business environment.
We provide a comprehensive introduction to the many different uses of:

  • Computers word processing (Microsoft Word)
  • Databases (Microsoft Access)
  • Email (Microsoft Outlook)
  • Internet browsing (Microsoft Internet Explorer)
  • Spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)
  • Presentations (Microsoft Power Point)

The course will cover techniques for performing basic editing functions in a document, creating, naming, saving, and opening/closing files. After successful completion of this course, the student will have the basic knowledge for use M. S. Office program.

If you're interested in the classes, there are two choices, one class is available on:

  • Saturdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
  • Monday thru Thursday from 9:00am to 12:00pm

Both are FREE. The difference is the second class is more intensive and requires a donation to cover the books and the materials given in class. Both classes are 12 weeks (3 months).
Class size is limited. We can seat fourteen (14) learners for each class.

Prerequisite: None

Course duration: Normally runs over 3 months.
